St. George’s Hill Golf Club, Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa
This year, we experienced very wet conditions throughout the day, but fortunately, the heavy rain and thunder only arrived 10 minutes after the golf concluded – perhaps the Irish felt right at home! Despite the weather, everyone enjoyed the on-course activities and the world-class playing surfaces at St George’s Hill Golf Club.
For the first time, we hosted the Enstar Golf Clinic, giving non-golfers the chance to discover any hidden talents. We look forward to holding a similar event at our 20th Annual MAD Leadership Foundation UK Golf Classic in 2025.
After the golf, guests returned to Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa to freshen up before being welcomed to The Ridgeview Sparkling Wine Reception at the Library and Terrace, where they enjoyed sparkling wine from Ridgeview Wine Estate.
This was followed by the banquet dinner in the Balmoral Banquet Suite at Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa. Our MC, Alistair Hargreaves, greeted the guests and smoothly guided them through the evening’s events. He introduced MAD Alumnus Moeketsi Mashibini, who delivered a heartfelt and inspiring speech. Moeketsi’s words were a powerful tribute to MAD, assuring the guests they had chosen the perfect place to Make A Difference. His speech was met with a resounding round of applause, and we all agree that Moeketsi will achieve great things—what an inspiring young man.
MAD Chairman, Francois Pienaar, took a moment during the live auction to recognize some of MAD’s most dedicated supporters. He then expertly conducted the auction, with Martin Dibowitz assisting in auctioning the SA Rugby World Cup Captains’ Lunch. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants for helping make this event a resounding success.
