Lionel Smit Studio, Somerset West

Where Art Meets Purpose!

This year’s event was hosted at the stunning Lionel Smit Studio in Somerset West. Guests were treated to exquisite food by Abundance Catering, fine wine from Meridian Wine Merchants, and a gin bar provided by Ken Forrester Wines. Carla Louw welcomed guests with her performance, followed by the extraordinary Tim Welsh. This proved to be another successful fundraiser in support of our young leaders.

Silapha, a resonant echo in isiZulu, declares “we are here.” It’s more than just our presence; it’s an unwavering commitment, an active pulse of support for the future leaders we nurture. In every challenge, Silapha embodies our collective voice, amplifying the resilience and potential of our scholars. It’s a shared journey, a testament to their perseverance and our unwavering belief in them. It’s the echo of a promise – the promise of making a difference, together.

  • Exquisite Encounters: Immerse yourself in a curated selection of artworks by established and emerging voices, each piece pulsating with the vibrant soul of South Africa.
  • Live Art Auction: Raise your paddle for a cause! Bid on captivating creations, knowing your generosity fuels the dreams of future leaders.
  • Inspiring Performances: Be swept away by the rhythm of music, the grace of dance, and the power of storytelling, all woven into a tapestry of shared experience.
  •  Gourmet Delights: Savor a culinary journey through South Africa’s diverse flavors, each bite bursting with vibrant tastes and cultural pride.

Your participation transcends a gala; it becomes a vital thread in the tapestry of hope we weave around our scholars. Your support illuminates their paths, providing them with the education and mentorship needed to lead us all towards a brighter future. We promise a year filled with opportunities to embrace Silapha’s spirit, unleash potential, and make a difference. We cannot wait to celebrate with everyone on the next 2025 Silapha event!
