Steps of Setting Up a Fundraiser
- Set your goal. (PRO TIP: To jumpstart your campaign, be the first one to donate! Showcasing that you’re not only a supporter but also a donor will encourage your network to give).
- Set up your fundraising page.
- Tell your story. Your story is the first thing people will see when visiting your fundraising page, so your goal is to make it as impactful as possible. It’s important to communicate how our organization’s mission has impacted your life in a meaningful way and why you’ve decided to fundraise on our behalf. And don’t hesitate to pull at their heartstrings; people are more likely to give if there’s an emotional connection.
- Share your fundraising campaign on social media, friend group, family chatrooms, etc.!

MAD2Adventures exists to create a unique and adventurous platform for fundraising. It is an opportunity to be a part of an inspiring cross-country journey to raise funds for the Make A Difference Leadership Foundation (MAD).
This adventure-for-a-cause was initiated in 2012 when a group of friends decided that it was time to be proactive and make a positive contribution to their much-loved country, South Africa. This team of ordinary South Africans set themselves an extra-ordinary challenge – to use their feet for a great feat – and run 1500km across South Africa, for South Africa.
Giving Tuesday is an opportunity for people around the world to use their individual power of generosity to remain connected and support their communities.
