The 20th Annual MAD UK Golf Classic took place at the world-class Bearwood Lakes Golf Club, and the exquisite Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa on Thursday, 2 October 2025 with perfect golfing conditions.
A special heartfelt thank you to the phenomenal Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa staff for their exceptional hospitality and stunning setting, which provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening.

After the golf, guests returned to Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa to freshen up before being welcomed to The Ridgeview Sparkling Wine Reception at the Library and Terrace, where they enjoyed sparkling wine from Ridgeview Wine Estate.
This was followed by the banquet dinner in the Balmoral Banquet Suite at Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa. Our MC, Alistair Hargreaves, greeted the guests and smoothly guided them through the evening’s events. He introduced MAD Alumnus Claudia Masemola, who delivered a heartfelt and inspiring speech. Claudia’s words were a powerful tribute to MAD, assuring the guests they had chosen the perfect place to Make A Difference.
The MAD Executive Chairman, Francois Pienaar, expertly conducted the auction, with his two sons, Jean and Stephane assisting in auctioning the items and a record amount was raised.
