Where Art Meets Purpose!
The 10th Silapha Exclusive Auction took place at the elegant Welgemeend in the heart of Cape Town, surrounded by a beautiful garden and breathtaking Table Mountain views.
This special event, in support of the Make A Difference Leadership Foundation (MADLF), was a celebration of generosity and impact. Guests gathered around a long harvest table, enjoying fine wines from Meridian Wine Merchants and a gin bar courtesy of Triple Three Distillery. They were warmly welcomed by our MADLF Scholars, eager to meet the dedicated supporters who are investing in their education. The vibrant sounds of The Steel Band Project set the tone upon arrival, while the Ben Reynecke Band provided a wonderful musical backdrop to the afternoon’s festivities.
The formal proceedings began on a high note with a captivating performance by MADLF scholar Jordan, who delivered a stunning rendition of Yesterday, setting the stage for a truly special afternoon among MAD Family and friends. Moeketsi, a MADLF Alumnus, did a fantastic job as our MC, and as always, Ariella Kuper delivered an outstanding auction performance, reaffirming why she is one of the best in the business.
Silapha, meaning “we are here” in isiZulu, is more than just a statement of presence, it is a steadfast commitment, a heartbeat of support for the future leaders we nurture. In every challenge, Silapha embodies our collective voice, amplifying the resilience and potential of our scholars. It is a shared journey, a testament to their perseverance, and to our unwavering belief in them. Silapha is the echo of a promise, the promise of making a difference, together.
